Union members and workers receive free cancer screening

Hanoi - 191 union members and workers of grassroots unions under the Ba Dinh District Labor Federation received free cancer screening.

Accordingly, the Ba Dinh District Labor Federation coordinated with Medlatec General Hospital to organize free reproductive health check-ups and early cancer screening for 191 union members and workers from affiliated grassroots unions.

Doctors have consulted and answered questions related to reproductive health care; blood analysis with 18 indicators; urine analysis; general abdominal ultrasound; chest X-ray; kidney and liver function examination; screening for colon cancer, liver cancer... This is an opportunity for union members and workers to know their health status, and at the same time gain more knowledge to take care of their health and that of their families.

Many union members and workers expressed their joy and thanked the attention and care of the Trade Union organization.

Union members and workers also hope that trade unions at all levels will organize more practical and meaningful activities so that they can take care of their material and spiritual lives.

Organizing health check-ups does not stop at detecting diseases but also helps union members and workers change their living habits and care about their long-term health.
