Due to the demand of export orders, in Binh Duong, there are 25 enterprises operating in industrial parks during Tet holidays. The total number of employees working in the enterprises is 8,160 people.
Notably, some businesses started production on the 4th day of Tet. A tire manufacturing company in My Phuoc 3 Industrial Park (Ben Cat City) organized buses to pick up workers on the 3rd day of Tet. On the evening of the 4th day of Tet, this company started production of some machines to meet the requirements of orders.
According to Mr. Pham Van Tuyen - Deputy Director of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Binh Duong province, businesses will return to work after Tet starting from February 3 (January 6 of the lunar calendar).
According to records, quite a number of workers are returning to Binh Duong. Workers from the Central Highlands and Central provinces take buses; from the Northern provinces take trains and buses back to Binh Duong.
Workers in the Western provinces mostly use motorbikes as a means of transportation - traveling 100-300 km through Long An, Ho Chi Minh City to Binh Duong.
Currently, businesses that organize transportation for workers to return to their hometowns have also begun to bring workers back to Binh Duong. According to records, about 15 businesses organized transportation for 13,000 workers back to Binh Duong.
According to the Binh Duong Province Electronic Information Portal, state agencies and departments handling administrative procedures will return to work from February 3.
Working schedule of the Department of Education and Training of Binh Duong province, schools also organize teaching activities again on February 3.
