Mr. Pham Van Tuyen - Deputy Director of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Binh Duong province said that this year, businesses will return to work after Tet as early as February 3 (January 6 of the lunar calendar). Businesses will resume production after Tet as late as February 20 (January 23 of the lunar calendar).
According to the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Binh Duong province, this year, most businesses plan to take Tet holidays from January 25 (from December 26), some businesses have Tet holidays longer than 10 days.
According to records, this year's Tet, many businesses arranged vehicles and gave away tickets to take more than 13,000 workers home for Tet.
Notably, there are enterprises such as: Dai Loc Company Limited supports bus fares for 4,200 workers; Kaiser 1 Company Limited supports bus fares for 3,100 workers; Kaiser 2 Company Limited supports bus fares for 2,660 workers; Yazaki EDS Vietnam Company Limited supports 5 round-trip sleeper buses for 200 workers to return home for Tet.
Tomorrow, February 1 (the 4th day of Tet), most businesses will organize vehicles to pick up workers back to Binh Duong and start production from the 6th day of Tet.
Regarding workers working during Tet holiday, the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Binh Duong province said that through synthesis and review, there are about 75 enterprises arranging for 12,281 workers to work during Tet holiday.
Of which, in industrial zones, there are 25 enterprises operating during Tet holidays. The total number of employees working in enterprises is 8,160 people.
Outside the industrial park, there are 50 businesses operating during the Tet holidays, with a total of 4,121 employees. The workers working during Tet are mainly in the security service industry and some businesses in restaurants, hotels, golf courses, entertainment areas, etc.
