Tet bonus 1 month basic salary

According to the posted content, all new skilled workers starting work from August 1, 2024 to August 31, 2024 will receive a Tet bonus equal to 1 month's salary like old workers working at the company.
It is worth mentioning that after the implementation period ended, the company decided to extend this policy until October 31. When starting work in October 2024, skilled employees will receive a Lunar New Year 2025 bonus of 1 month of basic salary.
Sharing with Lao Dong, Ms. Nguyen Thi Nhung (27 years old), a new worker, said that this is a very practical policy, creating motivation for employees to stick with the company. "At this time, no matter how difficult or stressful the job is, very few people dare to take time off because taking time off means losing their Tet bonus," Ms. Nhung said.
According to Ms. Nhung, the Tet bonus is very meaningful and important to employees. As soon as she heard the news in September, she decided to write a resignation letter from her old place to work at a new company in October. For female workers, the policy not only provides motivation but also shows the company's special care.
In particular, Ms. Nhung said that after working for 2 weeks at the company, she decided to invite more relatives and friends to work. The female worker assessed that the new Tet bonus policy is beneficial for both sides, creating attraction for workers who are feeling pressured at the end of the year and also for freelancers.
Announce Tet bonus 3 months early
In mid-October 2024, Song Hong Xuan Truong Garment Joint Stock Company (Nam Dinh) announced a 2025 Lunar New Year bonus for current employees of 2 months of average salary and ABC (monthly production bonus) at the end of the year. This policy helps many employees feel secure in staying with the company for a long time.
Ms. Pham Thi Tuyet (42 years old), a worker at the company, said that last year the company was in a difficult situation so she only received 2 months of average salary, without ABC bonus. However, this year the company decided to give ABC bonus, making the group of workers very excited.
The female worker shared that in 2023, the company cut the ABC bonus, which made the employees quite disappointed. This year, the company announced the Tet bonus early, helping to dispel speculation and doubts about the Tet bonus like last year. "When the company announced the full Tet bonus for the 13th, 14th and ABC months, we were more motivated to work and feel secure to stick with it not only this year, next year but also many years after that," said Ms. Tuyet.
Sharing more about this point of view, Ms. Tuyet said, in mid-2024, there were many rumors that the company would cut ABC's bonus like last year, there were even rumors that the company would only give a bonus of 1 month's salary, so many workers had quit their jobs.
According to the female worker, the ABC bonus will depend on the employee's monthly work performance. This bonus will be accumulated at the end of the year and paid together with the Tet bonus, ranging from 1.5 to 5 million VND or even higher.
“With the ABC bonus, we will be able to buy a lot of things for Tet, spend more comfortably, and not have to worry too much. The company should maintain this bonus policy for a long time so that workers can feel secure in their commitment,” said Ms. Tuyet.
