Businesses proactively retain workers
At many factories in Hung Yen, workers returning to work after Tet are quite numerous, production lines operate stably, and there are no major personnel fluctuations. This result comes from the proactiveness of businesses in taking care of life and ensuring the legitimate rights and interests of workers.
The whole province currently has more than 35,000 businesses operating. In units with Trade Union organizations, many solutions to retain workers are being implemented synchronously, from improving the working environment to increasing income and welfare. Many businesses organize year-end meetings, support transportation, lucky draws... creating a joyful atmosphere for workers.
Ms. Hoang Thi Nga - a worker at Victory Vietnam Shoe Co., Ltd. (Vu Thu commune, Hung Yen province), which is creating jobs for more than 2,600 workers - said that in recent years the situation of "job hopping" has decreased significantly. According to her, many workers prioritize long-term stability instead of job transfers just because the salary difference is not much. When businesses ensure full salaries, bonuses and benefits, workers are willing to stick with it.
At Stavian Chemical Joint Stock Company (Pho Noi A Industrial Park), more than 600 workers are working stably, with a cheerful spirit. Mr. Ha Doan Doc, from Tuyen Quang, has worked at the enterprise for more than 10 years. According to him, a stable working environment and clear remuneration are important reasons to continue to stick with it for a long time.

Workers are precious assets
Ms. Dinh Thi Giang - Deputy Director of Administration and Human Resources of Stavian Chemical Joint Stock Company said that the average income of employees currently reaches 12–13 million VND/person/month; the bonus for the 13th month's salary is on average more than 20 million VND/person. In addition to insurance regimes according to regulations, the enterprise also builds health care insurance packages for officials, employees and relatives, along with accident insurance during work.
Workers are supported with meals worth 30,000 VND/person/meal; attendance bonuses from 300,000-700,000 VND/person/month; periodic birthday celebrations. On the occasion of the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026, the company organizes buses to take workers home, pick them up to return to work; organizes year-end meals, Tet gifts and lucky money at the beginning of the year. Thanks to that, the labor mobility situation at the enterprise is very low.
At Hoa Phat Refrigeration Co., Ltd. (Nhu Quynh commune), the enterprise is creating jobs for more than 650 workers, including many people from other provinces. Previously, the company faced difficulties due to labor shortages, but in recent years the situation has stabilized thanks to focusing on improving welfare.
Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Xuong - Chairman of the Company's Trade Union said that the average income of employees reaches about 11 million VND/person/month. During the Lunar New Year, in addition to bonuses based on performance from 2–4 months' salary, the company also rewards the 13th month's salary at an average of 9 million VND/person; organizes buses to take workers home; gives gifts to all employees and gives lucky money of 2 million VND/person when returning to work.
Reality shows that when businesses proactively increase income, expand welfare and promote the role of the Trade Union organization, labor relations become more harmonious. Workers are assured of long-term commitment, while businesses maintain stable production forces, creating a foundation for sustainable development in an increasingly competitive context.
