Mr. Le Ngoc Hoang (born in 1992, residing in Tran Phu ward, Ha Tinh province), a former worker at Duc An Company, has just contacted Lao Dong Newspaper to thank him for the article "Duc An Technical and Trading Joint Stock Company was accused of owing wages to workers, the headquarters is no longer operating".
According to Mr. Hoang, the accountant of Duc An Company contacted and informed the Workers that the Company would soon pay the remaining wages to the workers.
On the afternoon of September 19, an officer in charge of construction of Machinery Assembly Joint Stock Company 10 (Lilama 10) - the contractor for the construction of Vung Ang 2 Thermal Power Plant - informed that he had contacted Duc An Company (a subcontractor of Lilama 10) to ask about the company's delay in paying wages to workers.
Through contact, he learned that Duc An Company had discussed with workers and promised to arrange to pay the remaining wages to the workers.
Also according to the construction officer of Machinery Installation Joint Stock Company 10, at the Vung Ang 2 Thermal Power Plant Project, the Duc An subcontractor constructed the amount of volume, and Lilama 10 Company signed a confirmation and paid the full amount.
As for the debt to employees' salaries, it is Duc An Company's business, not related to Lilama 10, not Lilama 10's late payment to Duc An, so this enterprise does not have the money to pay the employees' salaries.
Previously, on September 5, Lao Dong Newspaper published an article with reflections from some workers about about about 40 people who used to work at Duc An Technical and Trading Joint Stock Company to construct the Vung Ang 2 Thermal Power Plant Project in Ha Tinh.
On the eve of the Lunar New Year 2025, the factory is basically completed, many workers are out of work but they are still owed 1-2 months' salary (salary due for December 2024 and January 2025).
Of which, those who owe a lot are over 20 million VND, those who owe a little are also over 5 million VND.
Many times they have contacted Mr. Hoang Chi Cuong - Construction Commander of Duc An Company to demand wages, initially promised to pay but then broken their promise. Many recent contacts have not been picked up by the Construction Site Commander.

Reporters of Lao Dong Newspaper have also called Mr. Cuong - Construction Commander of Duc An Company many times but this person did not pick up the phone.
The reporter went to the address of Duc An Technical and Trading Joint Stock Company at number 71, Nguyen Hoang Ton Street, Xuan Dinh Ward, Hanoi City and still saw a signboard of Duc An Technical and Trading Joint Stock Company here, but the people confirmed that the company no longer rents activities at this address.
