Approving the investment policy for the Wind Power Project worth over VND17,000 billion

The People's Committee of Ha Tinh province has just issued a decision approving the investment policy of the Ky Anh Wind Power Plant Project with a total estimated investment capital of VND 17,051 billion.

The project is implemented in Ky Xuan, Ky Anh and Ky Khang communes. Of which, the land use area for a limited period is about 5.5ha, the water surface is used for a limited period is about 825ha, the temporary land use area is about 19ha, and the temporary water surface is about 94ha.

The expected architectural scale of the project is 47 turbines, with a turbine capacity of 5-8.5MW.

The project's operation period is 50 years from the date of land allocation, lease of land and water surface by the State. The project implementation progress is to complete the entire project and put it into operation in the fourth quarter of 2028.

The form of investor selection is through the form of inviting interest and bidding for projects using land.

The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Industry and Trade to perform the functions and tasks of the interested party and urgently prepare and submit for approval the request for interest, organize the appraisal of the request, submit for approval the results of the request for interest, organize the selection of investors according to the provisions of law.

Departments and branches, according to their functions and tasks, urge, guide and supervise investors to implement projects in accordance with the provisions of the law on investment; promptly handle difficulties and problems according to their authority.

The People's Committees of Ky Xuan, Ky Anh and Ky Khang communes closely coordinate with investors and relevant agencies in compensation, site clearance, implementation of procedures on planning, land, environment, etc.

The selected investor must commit to implementing the project in accordance with the provisions of law on planning, investment, construction, land, sea, electricity, forestry, environment, tax, fire prevention and fighting, security and order and other relevant legal provisions.
