Enterprises in Dong Nai need more than 24,000 workers, recruiting only 20-30%

Dong Nai - From the beginning of 2025 to now, there have been nearly 500 businesses registered to recruit in the province with a need for more than 24,000 workers.

On April 21, information from the Department of Home Affairs said that from the beginning of 2025 to now, in the province, nearly 500 businesses have registered to recruit with a need for more than 24,000 workers, most of whom are unskilled workers.

However, the number that businesses are recruiting is very small, only reaching about 20-30% of demand.

The reason is that many provinces across the country currently have industrial parks and export processing zones, so workers choose to move back to their hometowns to work.

To overcome difficulties in recruiting and retaining workers, in addition to requiring businesses to well implement social security policies, have good salary and bonus regimes to retain skilled workers.

To connect labor supply and demand, especially unemployed workers in the area, Dong Nai Employment Service Center under the provincial Department of Home Affairs has organized direct job exchanges and connected online with 13 provinces in the Southwest and the Central Highlands provinces.
