Trade unions and businesses proactively ensure labor safety
Building a safe working environment is becoming an urgent requirement at businesses with many workers, contributing to protecting the health and lives of workers and improving production and business efficiency.
At Furukawa Automotive Systems Vinh Long Vietnam Co., Ltd., labor safety assurance activities are deployed methodically and systematically, associated with the proactive role of grassroots trade unions in coordinating with businesses.
Mr. Nguyen Van Be Hai - Chairman of the Company's Trade Union, said that every year the enterprise organizes occupational safety retraining for employees, ensuring updating knowledge and practical skills.
In 2026, the company plans to organize a retraining program from April 1st to July 1st, implemented on weekdays with two time slots, morning and afternoon, suitable for production shifts.
According to him, the total number of workers subject to retraining is about 4,650 people, divided into 132 classes in 66 training days, with an average of about 35 people per class to ensure the quality of reception.
We arrange 30 minutes of theoretical training, then 10 minutes of testing and evaluation to ensure that workers firmly grasp safety knowledge before returning to work," he said.

Every year, the company organizes occupational safety and health training, health care, improves skills and regularly conducts fire prevention and fighting drills for workers.
Strengthening the role of building a safe environment
Mr. Nguyen Phuc Linh - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Provincial Party Committee Member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation said that the province is currently managing 627 grassroots trade unions with more than 174,000 union members.
The work of building a safe working environment is always concerned by trade union levels, considering this as a key task to protect the rights and health of workers.
He said that the trade union regularly coordinates with businesses to organize inspections and supervision of working conditions, and at the same time promote propaganda and raise awareness about occupational safety and health.

In 2026, the Provincial Labor Federation is expected to organize the Launching Ceremony of Workers' Month and respond to the Action Month on occupational safety and health on April 22 at Lefaso Tra Vinh Industrial Production and Investment Joint Stock Company.
The event is expected to attract about 1,000 delegates to attend, contributing to spreading the message about building a safe working environment and promoting the responsibility of stakeholders.
Through practical activities, trade unions and businesses are gradually creating a safe working environment, contributing to protecting workers and developing sustainable production.
