According to Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour Ngo Duy Hieu, to implement the 2026 Project, one of the contents the Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour requests to implement is to promote propaganda and communication to raise awareness, arouse belief and awareness about building a labor safety culture for employers and employees.
Provincial and city Labor Federations, central industry trade unions, and Trade Unions of Corporations directly under the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor build and organize the implementation of regular and widespread propaganda programs on building a culture of occupational safety at the workplace. Especially applying technology, digital transformation, diversifying forms of propaganda, concretizing propaganda content on occupational safety and health according to each group of workers in localities and sectors. In addition, develop plans to implement projects of localities and sectors with specific quantified goals... A noteworthy point is that the VGCL requires units, depending on the conditions of each locality and sector, to establish Steering Committees or Project Implementation Teams of localities and sectors and organize guidance and training for businesses and grassroots trade unions to build a culture of occupational safety at the workplace... The development of project implementation plans in localities and sectors, clearly defining specific deadlines for tasks to be completed monthly and sent to the VGCL in April 2026.
In 2026, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour will also build typical labor safety culture models at the workplace. To implement it, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour will survey and deploy model construction in 3 provinces and cities including: Ho Chi Minh City, Quang Ninh, Khanh Hoa and 3 industry trade unions, including: Vietnam Trade Union of Industry and Trade, Vietnam Electricity Trade Union, National Industry - Energy Group Trade Union. Based on the guidance of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour, Provincial and City Labor Federations, Central Industry Trade Unions, Trade Unions of Corporations directly under the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour, organize the selection of businesses and grassroots trade unions in localities and industries to build typical labor safety culture models at the workplace suitable to the characteristics of businesses in localities and industries for replication.
