Many collective labor agreements with provisions beneficial to employees have been signed such as: Workers' Day off on weekends; holidays; building a clear salary and allowance scale; shift meals and other regimes... However, the reason union organized a dialogue, proposing a number of additional opinions for the board of directors to consider and provide additional support, to ensure social security for workers.
At the dialogue, many female workers made recommendations such as: Subsidy for raising children under 6 years old for female workers from 100,000-300,000 VND/child; giving female workers raising children under 12 months old an additional 30 minutes off compared to current regulations to express milk; Female workers are entitled to an additional 1-2 months off without salary, and receive partial salary support to ensure health after giving birth...
Enterprises agree on 4 recommendations, consider the remaining contents
After the factory branch's board of directors discussed with the departments, they directly responded and agreed partly with the contents proposed by the employees.
In particular, the enterprise agrees to allow female employees during menstruation to have an additional 30 minutes off/day and a maximum of 3 days/month; female employees are approved for an additional 1-2 months of unpaid leave after giving birth if required; female employees with 25 weeks of pregnancy are exempted from night shifts or heavy work until their children are 12 months old.
Regarding the content of giving gifts on women's holidays, the board of directors said that there will be special meals during these holidays, while the gift has been deployed annually on the occasion of March 8.
Other contents on funding support, gift giving on October 20; Or take an additional 30 minutes to squeeze milk, take 10 minutes early before eating for pregnant female workers, raising children will be consulted by the Board of Directors of the factory branch, included in the discussion content in the meeting with the parent company, scheduled to take place next week.
