Following the direction of Vietnam Electricity Group and Northern Power Corporation on mobilizing maximum resources to respond to power grid incidents caused by storm No. 5 (Kajiki), Quang Ninh Power Company has urgently established a Shock Team to support and assist Nghe An and Ha Tinh Power Companies.
The shock team consists of 45 members, who are skilled engineers and workers, with rich experience in incident handling, natural disaster prevention and search and rescue.
At 5:00 a.m. on August 26, the formation departs with workers' transport vehicles, cranes, specialized tools and essential materials, including 15 temporary iron poles, accessories, nearly a ton of conductors and ropes and other equipment.
As soon as they arrived in Nghe An at 2:00 p.m. the same day, the Shock Team divided into many groups, coordinating with Nghe An Power Company to handle 19 medium-voltage poles and dozens of broken low-voltage poles, and at the same time cleared many corridor points with broken trees that broke the power lines.

By 2:45 p.m. on August 27, 2025, the medium voltage grid was basically re-closed, and the downturn incidents were handled to complete the power outage on August 28, 2025.
During the process of supporting Nghe An, half of the forces of the Quang Ninh Shock Team continued to move, coordinating with the Da Nang Power Shock Team to handle the power grid incident in Nghi Xuan, Ha Tinh.
By August 28, 2025, the power grid here will be basically restored and the power will be restored.
In Nghe An, after many days of efforts, at 9:30 p.m. on August 29, the low-voltage power grid of the last transformer station in Hung Nguyen district was safely restored to power.
