This is the fourth automobile factory of Thanh Cong Group, and the Skoda automobile factory - the most famous and oldest automobile brand of the Czech Republic - the first in Southeast Asia, affirming its position as well as marking an important milestone in the development strategy of Thanh Cong Group as well as the Vietnamese automobile industry.
Thanh Cong Viet Hung Automobile Factory of Thanh Cong Group, built on an area of 36.5 hectares, located in the Thanh Cong Viet Hung Automobile and Supporting Industry Complex, has a total scale of 400 hectares, with a total capital of VND 8,679 billion in Viet Hung Industrial Park.
Thanh Cong Viet Hung Automobile Factory has a capacity of 120,000 vehicles/year, with modern equipment lines, high level of automation, in accordance with international standards.
In the initial phase of operation, the factory assembled SUV and B-class sedan segments in accordance with the current tastes and consumption trends of Vietnamese people. The first two products of the Skoda brand assembled at the factory are Skoda Kushaq and Skoda Slavia.
In the next phase, the factory will expand to environmentally friendly electric vehicles.
