On September 3, 2025, at the Party Central Committee Headquarters, representatives of the Politburo worked with the Standing Committee of the An Giang Provincial Party Committee and the Standing Committee of the Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee to give opinions on the draft documents and personnel plans to submit to the Provincial Party Congress for the 2025 - 2030 term.
Politburo member and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh chaired the meeting.
Attending were Politburo members: Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Nguyen Trong Nghia; Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Thang - Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council; General Phan Van Giang - Minister of National Defense; Also attending were Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court Le Minh Tri.
At the meeting, the Secretary of the An Giang Provincial Party Committee and the Secretary of the Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee presented the draft of the main documents of the locality, including: Political report, Report on reviewing the leadership and direction of the Provincial Party Committee for the 2020 - 2025 term, draft Resolution of the Congress, Project on personnel at the Party Committee for the 2025 - 2030 term and report on explanation and acceptance of comments from central departments, ministries and branches on the draft documents and personnel plans of the Party Committee to prepare for the Provincial Party Congress for the 2025 - 2030 term.
Concluding the working session, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh basically agreed with the draft documents, the provinces have implemented them in accordance with the spirit of Directive No. 45-CT/TW, dated April 14, 2025 of the Politburo and the conclusions and guiding documents of the Central Committee.
The Prime Minister acknowledged and highly appreciated the important and comprehensive results that the two provinces have achieved in all fields, and frankly pointed out the limitations, causes and lessons learned. The orientation, goals, tasks and solutions for the 2025 - 2030 period demonstrate political determination, development vision, identify key and breakthrough tasks, have thoroughly grasped and concretized major policies and orientations in the draft documents of the 14th National Party Congress and the resolutions and conclusions recently issued by the Central Committee and the Politburo.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh requested localities to fully absorb the opinions of Politburo members, Secretariat members, and comments from departments, ministries, and branches to complete documents and personnel to submit to the Congress.
The Prime Minister emphasized the need for localities to pay attention to building a strong political system; ensuring national defense and security; doing a good job of ethnic and religious work; improving people's lives; determination and having strong solutions to promote all resources, promote startups and encourage innovation, digital transformation, arouse the spirit of aspiration to rise up. Propose that the two provinces soon complete the Action Program to implement the Resolution to submit to the Congress in a clear direction of goals, tasks, resources, people, work, progress, responsibilities, and can be implemented immediately after the Congress. Promote the implementation of propaganda work before, during and after the Congress.
The Politburo evaluated the draft documents and personnel plans of the Party Committees of the two provinces, assigned the Standing Committees of the Provincial Party Committees of the two provinces to accept the conclusions of the Politburo Working Group and opinions of the agencies to complete the documents and personnel plans of the Congress; assigned the Central Party Office to synthesize and report to the Politburo for consideration and decision on the time to organize the Party Congresses of An Giang and Lam Dong provinces for the 2025 - 2030 term.
