Businesses need to recruit more workers
After the National Day holiday on September 2, all employees of Viet Hung Joint Stock Company (District 12, Ho Chi Minh City) returned to work. Mr. Nguyen The Phong - an employee of the completion department - said that the holiday was a time to rest with family after hard working days. Because the holiday was short, most of the company's employees chose to stay in Ho Chi Minh City to rest instead of going far away or not returning to their hometowns. In addition, the company has a lot of work so everyone is aware of the need to go to work immediately to complete orders.
Mr. Huynh Van Choi - Chairman of the Trade Union of Viet Hung Joint Stock Company - said that currently, the company has many orders, and even has to refuse some shirt processing orders due to not having enough human resources to meet the demand.
The company has already opened a production line and needs to recruit about 180 more workers to start working immediately. The company only organizes overtime for a maximum of two days/week, each day only 3 hours of overtime. The salary of workers is 9 million VND/month, the average income is 11 million VND/month. Workers also enjoy many benefits such as bonuses on holidays such as April 30, September 2, and Tet...
Mr. Cu Phat Nghiep - Chairman of the Labor Union of PouYuen Vietnam Company (Binh Tan District) also said that after the National Day holiday on September 2, the company's employees also went to work fully. The company's order situation is currently stable from now until the end of the year; the company needs to recruit many employees to meet orders.
"Most workers are very happy because they have full jobs," said Mr. Cu Phat Nghiep.
Enough work for workers until Tet
Mr. Nguyen Huu Tuan - Human Resources Director of Thanh Cong Textile and Investment Trading Joint Stock Company (Tan Binh Industrial Park) - said that due to the company's characteristics of specializing in summer garment manufacturing, the company's orders have been quite stable since the beginning of the year. September and October are the low season every year; the company's policy is not to accept orders at all costs but only at reasonable prices, so currently, although orders are not as many as in previous months, there is still enough work for workers to do, no one has to take time off or have to work overtime.
Mr. Truong Hoang Tam - Chairman of the Trade Union of Printing Joint Stock Company No. 7 (Tan Tao Industrial Park) - also said that after the National Day holiday on September 2, all employees of the company returned to work. This is the peak time for the company because it has to make orders for the Tet season and the company's employees are also trying to exploit customers to strive to complete this year's target.
According to Mr. Nguyen Thanh An - Chairman of the Trade Union of Vietnam Samho Company (Cu Chi district), the company's employees also went back to work right after the holiday.
