The 500kV circuit 3 line project from Quang Trach (Quang Binh) to Pho Noi (Hung Yen) has a total length of about 519km, passing through 211 communes and wards of 43 districts and towns in 9 provinces including: Quang Binh, Ha Tinh, Nghe An, Thanh Hoa, Ninh Binh, Nam Dinh, Thai Binh, Hai Duong, Hung Yen.
The project is invested by the National Power Transmission Corporation under Vietnam Electricity Group. The project has a total of 1,177 column foundations, with a total investment of about 22,300 billion VND.
This is a project of particular importance in improving the transmission capacity of the national electricity system, contributing to meeting the urgent requirements of ensuring sufficient electricity supply to serve production, business and consumption of the country. all people in the North during the peak period of 2024 and the following years; ensure national energy security.
Given the importance of the project, in February 2024, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the Vietnam Electricity Group launched a 120-day emulation to the finish line under the Prime Minister's direction.
