On a broader national scale, the labor market in the second quarter of 2026 is forecast to be stable, labor is shifting positively from the informal to formal sector. Labor demand is increasing in the information technology, engineering, manufacturing and logistics industries.
Regarding salary trends, salaries in the information technology industry are forecast to increase by about 10-15%, and logistics industry will increase by 10-20%.
In addition, forecasts for some prominent industries are as follows: Technology & digitization continues to be the highest-income industry (average 38-56 million VND/month); manufacturing & mechanics maintain stable wages due to the need to maintain technical forces; logistics & supply chains strongly increase in human resource demand; construction, tourism & hotels recover slowly, wage increase of 3-5%.
