On the morning of January 11, the Labor Federation of Quy Nhon City (Binh Dinh Province) organized the program "Tet Sum Vay - Spring of gratitude to the Party 2025".
At the program, 224 union members and workers were happy to receive support from the union to celebrate Tet.
Gifts for 69 union members and workers who suffered work-related accidents, occupational diseases, and serious illnesses were 2 million VND in cash and a bag of essential goods/person, while each remaining difficult case was supported with 700,000 VND in cash and a gift.
According to the President of the City Labor Federation Pham Thi Thanh Tung, on the occasion of the Lunar New Year, the entire list of 964 union members and workers in difficult circumstances proposed by the grassroots union level were approved by the Binh Dinh Provincial Labor Federation to receive support for Tet care with a total budget of 948.7 million VND, including 764.5 million VND in cash and 184.2 million VND in kind.
In addition, in the online program "Trade Union Tet Market 2025" of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Quy Nhon city was allocated 410 vouchers to purchase goods and preferential consumer products, each worth 500,000 VND.
Ms. Pham Thi Thanh Tung said that in 2024, with the motto of focusing on the grassroots, Quy Nhon city has focused on promoting the work of caring for the lives, protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers. During the year, the city had 12,972 cases receiving support with a total amount of more than 7.7 billion VND. Quy Nhon Labor Federation alone donated 1,090 gifts from the union's financial resources and the City's Fund for the Poor; supported 54.1 million VND for 55 union members and workers at 2 enterprises whose orders were cut; considered the proposal of the Provincial Labor Federation to award 30 gifts at the meeting with the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; organized a "Union Meal" for nearly 200 union members and workers...
Quy Nhon City Labor Federation also monitored and coordinated inspections of the implementation of laws on labor, trade unions, social insurance, health insurance, unemployment insurance, regimes and policies for employees at 50 enterprises; coordinated with Binh Dinh Social Insurance to organize dialogues, consultations, and policy support for nearly 200 workers and laborers; organized to collect opinions and recommendations from union members and laborers on removing difficulties and obstacles in the process of implementing regimes and policies...
