Workers gain more confidence from practical activities
Workers' Month 2026 is synchronously implemented by the Vinh Long Provincial Labor Federation with many activities to care for union members and workers. Nearly 2 billion VND was mobilized to support 3,277 union members and workers in difficult circumstances through many meaningful programs.
One of the activities that left many imprints is the "Trade Union Meal" program, organized in 16 units with the participation of 18,886 union members and workers. The improved quality of meals has created a close atmosphere and connection between businesses and workers.
Ms. Nguyen Cam Tu - a worker at Unisoll Vina Co., Ltd. - said that the program not only brings more delicious meals than usual but also shows the concern of the Trade Union organization for workers' lives. The meal was organized in a warm and joyful atmosphere, helping business leaders and workers have the opportunity to sit down and chat intimately like people in the same family. This creates more motivation for workers to stick with and contribute for a long time.
Not only taking care of meals, trade union levels also awarded many Great Solidarity houses to union members in difficult circumstances, contributing to helping workers stabilize their lives, feel secure at work, and reduce housing pressure.
Mr. Thach Minh - a worker at Lefaso Tra Vinh Industrial Investment and Production Joint Stock Company - shared that for many years his family has had to rent a cramped room. Both husband and wife are workers, while their children are growing up, causing no small difficulties in life.
Being supported with Dai Doan Ket house, the family has a stable place to live, no longer worried about monthly rent. This is a motivation for me to feel secure in working, continue to be attached to the business for a long time, and strive to work to respond to the concern of the Trade Union organization," Mr. Minh shared.

Talking to Lao Dong Newspaper, Ms. Lam Thi Ngoc Ha - Chairwoman of the grassroots trade union of Ty Bach Co., Ltd. - said that this year's Workers' Month is organized practically, closely following the needs of union members and workers, creating a vibrant emulation atmosphere at the enterprise.
According to Ms. Ha, care, culture, sports and dialogue activities have created a useful playground, encouraging workers to compete in good labor, safe production, strengthening the connection between businesses and workers, contributing to building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations.
Mr. Nguyen Phuc Linh - Chairman of Vinh Long Provincial Labor Federation - said that Workers' Month 2026 is being implemented synchronously, creating a widespread spread.
The whole province has awarded 12 Great Solidarity houses, supported 685 gifts, organized 16 "Trade Union Meals" for 18,886 union members and workers, provided free health check-ups for 700 people, and mobilized nearly 2 billion VND to care for 3,277 union members and workers in difficult circumstances.
Workers' Month also developed 6,867 new union members, established 18 grassroots trade unions and commune and ward trade unions, introduced 386 outstanding union members for Party consideration and admission; recorded more than 21,554 initiatives, of which 9,508 initiatives were applied in practice.
In the coming time, the Provincial Labor Federation will continue to innovate the content and methods of operation, replicate effective models, and strengthen care for union members and workers so that Workers' Month truly becomes a festival for workers," Mr. Nguyen Phuc Linh emphasized.
