On April 22, Nha Trang City Labor Federation (LDLD) held the opening ceremony of the traditional sports festival for workers, civil servants, and laborers in 2025.
The opening ceremony was attended by Mr. Phan Thanh Liem - Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor, leaders of Nha Trang City and nearly 700 athletes, union members, and workers.
According to Mr. Ngo Anh Duyet - Chairman of Nha Trang City Labor Federation, the sports festival takes place from April 22 to 25, this is the first activity to celebrate Workers' Month 2025.
This year's sports festival brings together many athletes from 12 affiliated trade unions. During the 4 days, athletes will compete in 5 competitions including: Badminton, table tennis, tug of war, sack jumping, 3-legged two-man game.
In particular, badminton, each block is registered 1 pair in 5 categories, including men and women 40 years old or less; Men's doubles, 41 -year -old women and men and women do not distinguish ages. The table tennis each block is registered 2 applications and 1 pair in each category, including 5 men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, women's doubles, men and women.
Athletes will compete in 2 formats: round-robin competition with points and direct elimination. The Organizing Committee will award First, Second and Third prizes for the competition and score points to the entire group.
Through the sports festival, Nha Trang City Labor Federation hopes to create a playground for sports exchange, encourage cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers in Nha Trang City to exercise, improve their health, and serve their work.
