After 4 days of exciting competition, the 2025 Rach Gia City Workers' and Civil Servants' Sports Festival has successfully closed with many awards given to the competing teams.
As a result, in the Men's Football category (7 men), the first prize went to the Superdong Expressway Ship Trade Union. In the Badminton (men's category), the first prize (from 44 years old and under) belongs to the Rach Gia City Court Trade Union; from 45 years old and above is the Le Quy Don Secondary School Trade Union.
The first prize in the mixed-use badminton competition for men and women (from 44 years old and under) is the Trade Union of Chu Van An Secondary School; from 45 years old and over, the first prize is the Trade Union of Nguyen Du Secondary School.
In the Baseball Tournament (men), the first prize was awarded to the Truong Dinh Primary School Union; the first prize for women was awarded to the Rach Gia City Construction Investment Project Management Board Union.
The first volleyball tournament was won by the Nguyen Truong To Secondary School Union.
The sports festival was organized by the Rach Gia City Labor Federation (Kien Giang) in coordination with the City's Cultural Sports and Radiocasting Center. This is a practical activity to compete to achieve achievements to celebrate the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday; 50 years of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day and Workers' Month in 2025.
This sports festival includes 74 teams with nearly 800 athletes from industry unions, wards, communes, schools and enterprises under the City Labor Federation.
Ms. Tran Thi Thu - President of the City Labor Federation - said: The sports festival is a healthy and useful playground to improve physical fitness, improve health, limit diseases, repel social evils, exercise following the example of Uncle Ho, creating a new look, new rebound, and a driving force for the development of the sports movement among employees in the city.
