This is a meaningful sporting activity on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnamese Finance Industry (August 28, 1945 - August 28, 2025).
The race is not only a healthy sports playground, but also an opportunity for cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers in the entire Finance sector to review the glorious tradition, strengthen solidarity, and spread the spirit of "Health to build and protect the Fatherland".
In his opening speech, Mr. Do Van Truong - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Finance emphasized that with the spirit of "Health to build and protect the Fatherland", the race is a practical activity to encourage the movement of physical exercise in the whole industry, creating opportunities for exchange and connection between units, aiming to excellently complete professional tasks.
"This is also an opportunity for cadres and union members to look back on the glorious 8-year journey of the Finance industry, continue to promote the tradition, unanimously overcome challenges, build an increasingly modern, integrated and sustainable industry" - Mr. Do Van Truong emphasized.
Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Le Thi Tuong Thu - Chairwoman of the Ministry of Finance Trade Union, Head of the Organizing Committee of the tournament, highly appreciated the participation spirit of the units.
"The presence of nearly 600 athletes is a vivid testament to the strong vitality of the sports movement in the financial industry. Through the tournament, we see the youth, solidarity and aspirations to rise in each collective. This is also an important foundation for the whole industry to continue building a contingent of cadres and civil servants who are both heart -paced, both physically and mentally healthy."
With nearly 600 athletes competing in distances of 1,800m, 3,000m and 5,000m for men and women, the tournament has truly become a major sporting festival of the whole industry. Strong and flexible running steps on each route not only demonstrate will and endurance but also spread the spirit of solidarity, arousing pride and inspiration to contribute in each cadre and union member.
Responding to the call of the Ministry of Finance Trade Union, the Economic - Financial Magazine Trade Union actively participated in the race with 8 athletes representing the units.
Closing the race in an exciting and united atmosphere, the Organizing Committee awarded athletes with outstanding achievements in each competition distance, including 6 individual First - Second - Third prizes in the distances of 1,800m, 3,000m and 5,000m, divided into men's and women's groups.
In addition to the official medals, the race also leaves its mark with awards with profound spiritual values.
The tournament "Traditional fire" in 2025 ended in the bustling applause, in the smiles of the athletes and the proud eyes of the witnesses. Today's footsteps are not only rolling on the run, but also the journey to preserve and promote the glorious 80 -year tradition of the Vietnam Finance - the journey of aspirations, bravery and dedication spirit.
