On May 27, the Soc Trang Provincial Labor Federation coordinated with the Provincial Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital to organize a seminar on "Nurturing children in the first 1,000 days of life". This is one of the activities in the 2025 Workers' Month event series, aiming to comprehensively care for union members and workers.

At the program, Dr. Do Phuoc Dat - Nutritionist, Soc Trang Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital provided useful and practical knowledge to 150 female union members and workers working in An Nghiep Industrial Park.
The content on comprehensive care emphasizes the role of the "golden period" of the first 1,000 days of life of children (from mother's pregnancy to children's 2nd birthday) in physical, intellectual and immune development. The doctor also shared details about nutrition for pregnant women and mothers breastfeeding, diet for children aged 0 - 24 months, as well as preventive measures for micronutrient deficiencies.

Speaking at the program, Ms. Trinh Thi Bao Khuyen - Vice President of the Soc Trang Provincial Labor Federation said that organizing this activity aims to provide accurate knowledge, helping women in the group and workers have more valuable luggage to best care for their children, contributing to improving the quality of the population.
