Mr. Ly Truong Khoa - Vice Chairman of the Trade Union of Soc Trang Provincial Industrial Zones said that from the beginning of the year until now, from the support of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the provincial Labor Confederation and the socialization of socialization from enterprises, the Trade Union has awarded 4,121 gifts (500,000 VND/interest) to union members and employees in difficult circumstances. Besides, 1,784 online purchasing cards (500,000 VND/person) on the e -commerce floor of Tet trade union has also been sent to members.
The Trade Union also promptly visited and supported 21 union members with serious illnesses, occupational diseases or work-related accidents at a rate of 1 million VND/person.
In particular, with the support of businesses, the Trade Unions have taken care of the 2025 Tet holiday for more than 25,000 union members and employees with a total budget of over 11.2 billion VND. Many units also allocate additional support funds from 200,000 - 450,000 VND/person, creating a clear difference between union members and employees who have not participated in the organization, thereby increasing attraction and affirming the role of unions in enterprises.
Many cultural and sports activities are organized enthusiastically such as the Sports Festival "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan An Dang" with nearly 500 union members participating, the "Family Meal" Cooking Contest, the Women's Football Tournament to celebrate International Women's Day 8.3 associated with the "Three Assets of Power" movement.
During the Workers' Month 2025, the Provincial Industrial Parks Trade Union continues to implement a series of meaningful activities such as: giving gifts to union members in difficult circumstances and with serious illnesses; coordinating the organization of the model "Your Health"; free parking for 100 union members and workers... These programs contribute to creating motivation, spreading the spirit of attachment and accompanying workers in the modern working environment.
