On May 25, the Co Do District Labor Federation (LDLD) said that the unit had just coordinated with the District Red Cross Society and the Can Tho City Hematology and Blood Transfusion Hospital to organize the reception of humanitarian blood from cadres, union members, workers, civil servants, and laborers (CNVCLD) at affiliated grassroots unions in the district.
This is an activity to achieve achievements to celebrate Workers' Month 2025 and celebrate the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1990 - May 19, 2025).
With the message "Donate blood to save people - Donate regularly", "A drop of blood given - a piece of life left behind", the voluntary blood donation movement in the district has developed strongly, receiving active support from agencies, units, enterprises and a large number of cadres, union members, and employees.
Through screening and comparing the declaration form of each person, Can Tho City Hematology and Blood Transfusion Hospital received 57 qualified units of blood.
Since the beginning of the year, the District Labor Federation has coordinated with the District Red Cross Society and the City Hematology and Blood Transfusion Hospital to receive 2 blood donations from cadres, union members, and employees across the district.
