The event is part of an effort to raise legal awareness among healthcare workers, helping them better understand important changes in the new social insurance (SI) policy.
At the propaganda session, the union officials were presented in detail by the City Social Insurance Reporter on the basic contents of the 2024 Social Insurance Law. In particular, new points such as subjects participating in social insurance, conditions on the minimum number of years of social insurance contributions to receive pensions. A notable change is the replacement of the "basic salary" with a "reference level" to calculate social insurance regimes, as well as regulations related to electronic transactions in the field of social insurance.
The propaganda session took place very excitingly with questions and answers from union officials. Many questions and concerns related to the new regulations of the Social Insurance Law 2024 were answered promptly and satisfactorily by the reporters, helping attendees better understand their rights and obligations.
The 2024 Social Insurance Law, passed by the 15th National Assembly at its 7th session, consists of 11 chapters and 141 articles and is expected to take effect from July 1, 2025. Disseminating legal knowledge, especially the Social Insurance Law, to medical staff is very important, contributing to ensuring the rights of workers and the stability of the social security system. This event also demonstrates the deep concern of the Health Sector Trade Union for the lives and legitimate rights of staff and members.
