Full salary, bonus and Tet gifts
According to Ms. Le Nguyen Khanh Huong - President of the Trade Union of Murata Manufacturing Vietnam Co., Ltd., this year, the Trade Union plans to give Tet gifts in kind worth VND420,000/person to all union members; give 56 special gifts worth VND1 million/gift to support union members in difficult circumstances. The Trade Union also proposed to support additional Tet gifts for union members suffering from occupational diseases, serious illnesses, and those in difficult circumstances.
Similarly, the Union of Thuan Phuoc Seafood and Trading Joint Stock Company (Son Tra district) also planned to take care of Tet for nearly 1,500 union members and workers with many diverse and rich activities.
The Union will give Tet gifts worth 500,000 VND/gift, organize art performances, draw prizes, and award prizes to outstanding groups and individuals with initiatives and creativity during the year. The total budget for the company's Tet care activities is nearly 1 billion VND. In particular, the Union also implements a program to register for a Union bus trip implemented by the higher-level Union.
Asia Architecture and Trading Company Limited (Hoa Khanh Industrial Park) with 350 employees has also prepared many Tet benefits. Employees will receive a 13th month salary bonus with a coefficient of 0.9 - 1.2 months of basic salary and receive a Tet gift from the company.
The company's union also gave Tet gifts worth more than 1 million VND each and proposed additional support for union members in especially difficult circumstances, ensuring that all union members have a warm and happy Tet.
Support 20,000 union members in special circumstances
According to the plan to organize activities to take care of the Lunar New Year At Ty 2025 that the Da Nang City Labor Federation has just issued, this year the Labor Federation continues to organize the program "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Ung Dang" with a series of activities: Opening the 2025 Trade Union Tet Market, giving gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances, giving train and bus tickets to go home to celebrate Tet.
Notably, the City Labor Federation will distribute 40,000 vouchers, each worth VND100,000, to union members and workers in difficulty. The Labor Federation will support 20,000 union members in special circumstances such as work-related accidents, occupational diseases, serious illnesses, natural disasters, unemployment or policy beneficiaries. The maximum support level is VND1 million/member, including VND700,000 in cash and VND300,000 in kind.
The Federation of Labor will also visit, encourage and give gifts to 1,000 workers who do not return home for Tet, workers in self-managed worker groups in dormitories, Hoa Cam Industrial Park Workers' Housing and single female workers. At the same time, 2,000 train and bus tickets will be provided free of charge to take workers and their families home.
Ms. Phan Thi Thuy Linh - President of the Da Nang City Labor Federation - shared: "The goal that the City Labor Federation sets out is to organize activities to care for and support the material and spiritual life of union members and workers in a practical and effective way, ensuring that everyone has a joyful, meaningful, warm and happy Tet. Through that, we affirm the role and responsibility of the Trade Union organization in caring for union members and workers during Tet, creating motivation to encourage union members to work more effectively, and to be attached to the unit and enterprise".
Announcement of early Tet holiday for employees to be proactive From mid-November 2024, Pi Vina Da Nang Co., Ltd. (Hoa Khanh Industrial Park) announced the plan to take a Tet holiday for At Ty year so that employees can proactively book train, bus and plane tickets to return home for Tet. Accordingly, the company will give employees 10 consecutive days off, from January 24 to February 2, 2025, creating conditions for employees from other provinces to have more time to celebrate Tet with their families.
