On March 26, the Department of Finance of Quang Tri province confirmed that it had allocated funds according to the proposals of localities, in order to pay benefits to teachers teaching disabled students after a period of lack of funding.
According to Mr. Nguyen Thien Tung - Chairman of Vinh Linh Commune People's Committee, the locality has received a decision to allocate funds from higher levels. Professional departments are urgently completing dossiers and procedures to pay benefits to teachers in accordance with regulations. Previously, although the school year had ended, many teachers in Vinh Linh commune had not yet received benefits because the local budget lacked about 2 billion VND. The Commune People's Committee has submitted a report to the Department of Finance requesting additional funding.
Specialized agencies are carrying out related procedures, ensuring that when the dossiers are complete, payment will be made immediately to teachers teaching disabled students in the 2024-2025 school year" - Mr. Nguyen Thien Tung said.
In Khe Sanh commune, Ms. Thai Thi Nga - Chairwoman of the Commune People's Committee said that the funds have been transferred to the locality. Schools are completing submissions and related dossiers to serve as a basis for payment.
In the 2024-2025 school year, the commune has 73 disabled students integrated. The number of teachers directly teaching are all eligible for benefits, so the total expenditure is quite large, exceeding the balanced capacity of the commune budget" - Ms. Thai Thi Nga informed.
In Tan Lap commune, Ms. Ho Thuy Vinh - Chairwoman of the Commune People's Committee affirmed that the locality is reviewing documents and is expected to complete the payment of allowances to teachers in April 2026.
