Bustling working atmosphere
Present at the construction project of Ring Road 4 through Thuong Tin District (Hanoi) on February 6, the reporter noted that despite the rainy weather, the parallel road construction site was still bustling with the atmosphere of labor with many construction teams rushing to carry out the assigned tasks.
From the 6th day of Tet (February 3), Mr. Nguyen Tran Trung Hieu (27 years old, from Hai Duong) returned to the construction site of the Ring Road 4 parallel road project in the Capital region through Thuong Tin district (Hanoi) to work after a 9-day Tet holiday.
Working in the first days of the new year of At Ty, Mr. Hieu said that not only he but all the workers were full of enthusiasm, hoping to soon complete the set schedule.
Assigned to drive a road roller to treat weak ground, Mr. Nguyen Huu Thanh (33 years old, from Thanh Hoa) said that in the first days of the new year, with the encouragement of the contractor, all workers worked enthusiastically. "We work on the construction site regardless of sun or rain, day or night to complete the project on schedule" - Mr. Thanh said.
Undertaking the construction from Km52 to Km57 (belonging to package 11), Mr. Pham Van Thieu (representative of the contractor Song Hong Joint Stock Company) said that since the 6th day of Tet, the contractor has mobilized a lot of human resources and equipment to construct project items.
“With the spirit of “eating quickly and sleeping quickly”, from contractors to workers, everyone is focused on construction to bring the project to completion on schedule, with high quality, worthy of a national key project,” said Mr. Thieu.
At package number 9 - construction of the parallel road of Ring Road 4 through Dan Phuong and Hoai Duc districts in the first days of the new year of At Ty, many sections have been paved with asphalt by the construction unit.
Mr. Nguyen Hoang Hai - Commander of Package No. 9 - said that the unit has mobilized 200 officers, engineers, workers and 100 machines and construction equipment since the beginning of 2025. Currently, the package is divided into 3 construction phases, reaching nearly 50% of the contract value.
Ensure completion in 2025
According to Director of Hanoi Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board Ngo Ngoc Van, the project is currently implementing 32 construction projects along the entire route, the volume of roadbed embankment has reached about 85%, crushed stone aggregate is about 35%; simultaneously constructing bridge, culvert and other items.
In the districts of Me Linh, Dan Phuong, and Hoai Duc, about 15km of asphalt concrete has been constructed. The total output of the parallel road project has so far reached about 50% of the contract value and the project is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2025.
Wishing a Happy New Year and encouraging contractors, supervisory consultants and all employees and workers working at the Ring Road 4 project on February 6, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Tuan - Chairman of the Hanoi People's Council - emphasized that this is an important, national key project, of great significance to the socio-economic development of the capital Hanoi in particular and the provinces in the capital region, the Red River Delta region and the Northern key economic region.
Therefore, Mr. Tuan requested relevant units to closely follow the plan and progress, make efforts to complete construction with quality and safety; focus on implementing component projects and auxiliary works. "During the implementation process, if there are any difficulties or problems, they need to be reported and proposed to the city in the spirit that wherever there is land, construction must be carried out promptly, and the project must not be delayed" - said the Chairman of the Hanoi People's Council.
