On the morning of February 6, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of the Hanoi People's Council Nguyen Ngoc Tuan visited, wished a Happy New Year and encouraged cadres and workers at the construction site of the Ring Road 4 - Hanoi Capital Region Investment Project in Thuong Tin district.
Wishing Tet, encouraging contractors to construct, providing supervision consultants and all employees and workers working at the Ring Road 4 Investment Project, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Tuan commended the serious working spirit of the units, including Thuong Tin district, for their site clearance, so that contractors could have the site to implement.
Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Tuan emphasized that this is an important and important national project, of great significance to the socio-economic development of the capital Hanoi in particular and the provinces in the Capital Region, the Red River Delta and the Northern Key Economic Zone.
The project has regional connectivity, connecting with expressways and radial routes, connecting Hanoi with neighboring provinces.
The Chairman of the Hanoi People's Council requested the project investor, the construction contractor, the supervision consultant and all employees and workers working at the Ring Road 4 - Capital Region Investment Project in Hanoi to closely follow the plan, progress, and make efforts to complete quality and safety construction; focus on implementing component projects and auxiliary works.
"During the implementation process, if there are any difficulties or problems, it is necessary to report and propose to the city in the spirit that wherever there is land, construction must be carried out promptly and the project must not be delayed" - Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Tuan emphasized.
Reporting quickly on the project progress, Director of the Hanoi Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board Ngo Ngoc Van said that up to now, the project's site clearance work has reached nearly 99%, moving graves has reached more than 99%, completing 13/13 resettlement areas and resettlement arrangements for households reaching 35%, completing the relocation of 10/16 high-voltage power intersection points.
It is expected to strive to complete all project site clearance work in the first quarter of 2025.
Regarding the construction progress, after 19 months from the groundbreaking date, with 32 construction teams along the entire route, the roadbed construction volume reached about 85%, crushed stone aggregate level was about 35%; construction simultaneously was carried out in the items of bridges, culverts and other items.
In the districts of Me Linh, Dan Phuong, and Hoai Duc, about 15km of asphalt concrete has been constructed. The contractor for package No. 11 in Thuong Tin district has received the entire length of the package of 9.3km and has completed the embankment of roads, weak soil treatment, and overpasses. The total output of the parallel road project to date has reached about 50% of the contract value and is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2025.
Currently, the city has issued bidding documents to select investors of Component Project 3 and open bids on March 7, 2025. It is expected to complete the selection of investors and start the project in the second quarter of 2025 if there are investors who meet the requirements.
