As a unit performing the function of consulting, introducing jobs, providing labor and organizing job exchanges, the Hanoi Employment Service Center regularly supports workers through many activities such as resolving unemployment insurance, vocational training and providing labor market information in the area.
In the first quarter of 2026, the center organized many thematic job transaction sessions, part-time job sessions in coordination with universities, sessions for demobilized police forces returning to their localities... attracting a large number of businesses to participate. Thereby, both supporting businesses in recruitment and helping workers find suitable jobs.
Mr. Dinh Van Nam - Sergeant level, discharged in January 2026 - shared: "DuRING my service at the unit, I participated in a job transaction session organized by the Hanoi Department of Home Affairs in coordination with the Hanoi Capital Command. I have accessed a lot of useful information about vocational training, the labor market, and job opportunities suitable for myself after discharge. After returning to the locality, I continued to receive attention and support from officials of the Hanoi Employment Service Center in preparing dossiers, choosing suitable occupations and registering for vocational training at Vocational College No. 1 - Ministry of National Defense".
In March 2026, the Hanoi Employment Service Center successfully organized the Youth Month Job Fair with the participation of 36 units and businesses throughout the Hanoi job exchange system, providing 1,866 recruitment targets; of which 20 businesses participated directly at the Vietnam Women's Academy. The festival not only creates job opportunities and internships for students but is also a real-world experience environment, helping young people accumulate skills, knowledge and experience when approaching the labor market.
According to Mr. Vu Quang Thanh - Deputy Director of Hanoi Employment Service Center, in April 2026, the center will continue to promote the organization of job transaction sessions to support businesses in recruiting workers. In addition to periodic sessions at the main floor at 215 Trung Kinh and 8 satellite floors, the center will strengthen the organization of mobile sessions in Ha Dong ward, Dong Anh commune, Soc Son commune, as well as thematic sessions at Thuong Mai University, Vietnam Youth Academy... to meet recruitment needs right from the beginning of the year.
It is expected that on April 9, the Hanoi Employment Service Center will coordinate with localities to organize the 2026 Job Transaction Session in Ha Dong ward, with the participation of Kien Hung, Duong Noi, Phu Luong, Yen Nghia wards. The transaction session takes place from 8:00 AM at Dai Nam University (Phu Luong ward, Hanoi), with the participation of about 40 businesses from many fields.
Here, workers will be provided with information about the labor market, employment, and labor export; and at the same time have the opportunity to directly contact businesses to choose suitable jobs. On the business side, recruiting units also have the opportunity to directly access labor sources, including students, contributing to improving recruitment efficiency.
