Ms. Le Thi Mai Linh (born in 2002, Cau Giay ward, Hanoi) attended a job fair connecting 6 provinces and cities (Hanoi, Ninh Binh, Thai Nguyen, Quang Ninh, Lang Son, Tuyen Quang) recently organized by the Hanoi Employment Service Center.
Graduated from Graphic Design at a college in Cau Giay ward, after a direct interview with an employer, Ms. Linh was recruited by a business in Lang ward with a starting salary of 9 million VND/month.
"I started working in the second year, have experience and are still collaborating with units under the form of work packages. When applying, I bring the product file for the employer to see. Luckily, the products I am designing match the needs of the employers, so I was recruited immediately, said Ms. Linh.
Mr. Hoang Van Ha (born in 2004, from Lao Cai) is currently renting a room in Ha Dong ward (Hanoi). Mr. Ha participated in the job fair on August 25 and was quickly recruited as a mechanical worker for a company in Ha Dong ward, with a starting salary of 8 million VND, food and accommodation.
"I am working for a paper manufacturing company in Phuong Liet ward, also supported by accommodation, with a salary of 6.5 million VND/month, not including overtime. After 3 years of working, I wanted to find other job opportunities so I attended the job fair. When interviewing a mechanical company, I was afraid that I would not be recruited if I had no experience, luckily the company was willing to train skills, said Mr. Ha.
Ms. Linh and Mr. Ha are 2 of many workers who have found job opportunities when participating in the online job fair connecting 6 provinces and cities.
Talking to Lao Dong reporter, Mr. Vu Quang Thanh - Deputy Director of Hanoi Employment Service Center - said that the online job fair connecting 6 provinces and cities attracted 95 units and enterprises to participate in recruiting 19,359 targets with diverse occupations and salary levels.
At the Hanoi connecting point, there are 28 units participating in recruitment with 816 targets. Of which, the demand for recruitment of unskilled workers has 304 targets, accounting for 37.3%; the demand for recruitment of workers with intermediate qualifications - technical workers has 267 targets, accounting for 32.7% and 245 targets of college - university qualifications or higher, accounting for 30%.
Notably, the demand for labor recruitment is mainly concentrated in the group of young workers aged 18 - 25 with 434 targets, accounting for 53.2%, meaning that young workers have many job options suitable for their professional qualifications and abilities.
