According to the plan to organize activities to care for union members and workers on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025, the Hai Duong Provincial Federation of Labor will organize diverse and flexible forms of care, focusing on the grassroots level, paying attention to and supporting union members and workers working in industrial parks and clusters; union members and workers working in enterprises facing difficulties due to economic recession, being cut or reduced orders, downsizing production scale, temporarily suspending operations, dissolving, going bankrupt, owing wages, bonuses, etc.
On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025, the Hai Duong Provincial Federation of Labor organizes the program "Union Tet Market 2025" in a direct form to provide essential, quality goods and services at preferential prices, give discount vouchers, give products at "0 VND", organize cultural and sports activities, give gifts, provide health consultation, provide free medicine, etc. for union members and workers.
In addition, union members and workers are supported with train, bus, plane tickets, and other means of transportation to return to their hometowns to celebrate Tet and return to their workplaces. For union members and workers who are unable to return to their hometowns to celebrate Tet, the Union will visit, encourage, and participate in Spring and Tet activities.
The Hai Duong Provincial Federation of Labor will strengthen dialogue and negotiation activities with employers on production plans, salary payment, and Tet bonus payment; and take care of the material and spiritual life of union members and workers during Tet.
Implement measures to detect and prevent labor disputes and collective work stoppages arising during Tet and participate in timely and effective handling, contributing to ensuring security and order in localities and enterprises.
Trade unions at all levels proactively participate with competent authorities to grasp the situation, inspect and supervise employers in paying salaries and bonuses to union members and employees during Tet; promptly detect and have solutions to ensure the rights of union members and employees in enterprises facing difficulties, unpaid salaries, unable to pay bonuses, business owners absconding or dissolving or going bankrupt.
