Recently, the Trade Union of Sanhua Vietnam Co., Ltd. launched the Socialist Trade Union (XHCN) model. The company currently has 825 union members, and is one of the units that takes good care of the lives of workers in An Duong Industrial Park.
Over the past time, the Trade Union has negotiated and signed collective labor agreements with 5/14 clauses that are more beneficial to workers such as Tet bonuses of at least 1 month's salary, basic salary 5% higher than the minimum salary, hot subsidies, and reduced working hours for pregnant women. The Trade Union also coordinated to monitor meal times, negotiating to increase the meal allowance from 20,000 VND to 22,000 VND/meal. Up to now, the average income has reached about 11 million VND/person/month, an increase of 22% compared to 2020.
In the coming time, we will build a detailed roadmap to create substantive changes in the lives of employees as well as labor relations at the enterprise. In the immediate future, it is to improve the quality of care and protection of employees, especially collective labor agreements, periodic dialogues, implement democracy regulations, and monitor the results of resolving petitions" - Mr. Nguyen Van Dat - Chairman of the Company's Trade Union - said.
From the employer's perspective, Mr. Yu Bo Yang - Deputy General Supervisor of the Company's General Management Department - said that building a socialist grassroots trade union is not only the task of the trade union, but the common cause of the entire company in the next 5 years.
Mr. Nguyen Van Quyet - Standing Vice Chairman of Hai Phong City Labor Federation - said that the launch of the model at Sanhua Trade Union is of practical significance, not only concretizing the Party's policy, but also a proactive and creative step of the Trade Union organization in bringing the resolution into the lives of workers, especially in FDI enterprises.
Regarding care work, the Hai Phong City Labor Federation will connect welfare programs, legal advice, the Capital Assistance Fund for workers and utilities on the "Huong Cong - Hai Phong Trade Union" App. Through the Capital Assistance Fund, union members can access emergency loan packages with preferential interest rates, loan amounts up to 80% of income, without collateral...
The socialist grassroots trade union model is being piloted by the Hai Phong City Labor Federation from November 2025 to August 2027 in 30-50 grassroots trade unions with 200 or more union members. In November 2025, the city will pilot in 5-10 grassroots trade unions; in 2026, it will continue to implement, review targets, guide and support resources. By August 2027, the project will be implemented in 30-50 grassroots trade unions and replicated in the following years.
