Promoting emulation movements, arousing collective strength
TKV Trade Union always identifies the central and consistent goals as: Consolidating organization, innovating operating methods for the benefit of employees; working with professional departments to arrange production organization, stabilize life and jobs; working with localities to take care of social security work.
Throughout the three-decade journey, patriotic emulation movements launched by the TKV Trade Union not only created a vibrant labor and production atmosphere but also became a driving force for the development of the entire industry. Programs: "Glory of Miners"; "Businesses for miners"; "Businesses for workers"; "Miner Welfare"; "Workers' Month"... have spread the spirit of innovation and creativity, arousing the collective strength and dedication of workers throughout the Group. Typical movements such as: "Reaching record productivity" "Fast mining" "90 days and nights of determination to win" "Safety - Innovation - Development", "Good labor - High income", "Mechanization - Automation - Informatization"... have become a driving force, urging tens of thousands of workers to emulate in production and work.
Thousands of technical innovation initiatives have been applied to production, many key projects have been completed, and many teams have achieved record productivity, contributing to improving the production and business efficiency of the Group.
In which, the movement "Good Labor - Creative Labor" has sparked tens of thousands of initiatives, benefiting businesses by trillions of VND. Employees with high incomes are increasing, in 2025 there are 14,454 people reaching 300 million VND, from 500 million to 600 million VND there are 605 people; over 600 million VND there are 144 people, especially 7 miners have reached an income of over 700 million VND/year. Every year, hundreds of individuals are commended by the TKV Trade Union with the title "Creative Miner". From emulation movements, a generation of excellent miners and good managers of TKV has been discovered and replicated; it is the motivation and premise to realize the emulation movement "Good Labor, High Productivity, Good Income" launched by the VGCL.
Innovating operating methods for the benefit of workers
Mr. Le Thanh Xuan - Member of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Chairman of TKV Trade Union, said that the 30-year journey of TKV Trade Union has always been associated with the development of the Coal - Mineral industry through very proud milestones. The Trade Union has joined hands with professionals to focus on overcoming the consequences, stabilizing workers' lives, and quickly restoring production. From these challenges, the bravery of miners and the role of the Trade Union organization are affirmed more clearly than ever. It can be affirmed that each milestone of TKV Trade Union is associated with the development of the Group and the stability of workers' lives.
The biggest thing that TKV Trade Union has preserved for the past 30 years is the trust and support of workers. Because behind the meters of mines, coal layers, and production shifts, there is always silent but persistent sharing from Trade Union levels. The work of caring for life has touched every worker's heart. The "Miner Tet" program has been implemented since 2020 with the motto: "All TKV workers have Tet" has brought warmth to tens of thousands of families, becoming a unique brand of TKV every Tet and spring.
Thousands of Trade Union Solidarity Houses have been built with support levels from 50 million VND to 80 million VND and up to 90 million VND per house from 2025. Implementing a quantitative diet, shuttle buses, hot baths, and laundry for miners.
In particular, health care is emphasized, with 100% of workers undergoing periodic check-ups annually; caring for workers with reduced health; families of workers with meritorious services to the production of the industry. Welfare programs: high-end vacations, periodic care for workers, lung washing for miners, building clean and civilized collective areas...
Activities to care for miners not only provide material support but more importantly, have contributed to stabilizing ideology, income, creating a safe working environment, bringing warmth and affection to miners in the common house of TKV.
