According to the Trade Union of Department H08 (People's Public Security Trade Union), on the occasion of the Lunar New Year every year, from 2023-2025, the Trade Union of the Department will organize the Programs "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Chia Chia", "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Ung Deng", "Trong Gia Dinh Bao Bao Bao Bao Tet", organize meetings, give support and give Tet gifts to 523 union members and workers in especially difficult circumstances with a total amount of over 285 million VND.
Organized 450 union members in difficult circumstances to participate in "Tet Sum Vay", and were given vouchers to buy items at discount booths organized by the People's Public Security Trade Union (CAND) with many essential items and products, bringing benefits to union members and employees of nearly 250 million VND.
At the affiliated grassroots unions, many activities have been organized to practical care for union members and employees. On the occasion of the 2024 Giap Thin Lunar New Year, grassroots trade unions organized support activities, giving 2,308 Tet gift bags to 2,308 union members and employees at grassroots units with an amount of 1.08 billion VND; On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025, grassroots trade unions at all levels organized the presentation of 2,293 Tet gift bags to 2,293 union members and workers; presented gifts to support difficulties to 85 union members in difficult circumstances, union members with occupational diseases with a total amount of Tet gifts and support for difficult care for union members and workers of 1.24 billion VND. In addition, on the occasion of the Lunar New Year every year, at grassroots trade unions with a large number of union members and workers, grassroots trade unions also organize "Tet Buses" to transport, pick up and support train and bus tickets for 1,243 union members and workers to return to their hometowns to eat and return to work after Tet, with a total amount of nearly 1.2 billion VND.
On the occasion of "Workers' Month" and "Workers' Month of Action on Occupational Safety and Hygiene" every year, the Department's Trade Union and its affiliated grassroots trade unions have organized and implemented practical and specific activities such as organizing visits and providing special allowances for 130 union members and employees with a total amount of 90 million VND; awarding 35 million VND to repair "Union Shelters"; organizing free medical examinations for nearly 100 union members and employees in difficult circumstances at grassroots units; proposing to commend "Good workers" for 223 union members and employees at business units...
