On the evening of November 27, the Mailisa Aesthetic Institute system, through its official fanpage with more than 2.8 million followers, posted a notice to temporarily suspend the entire system from November 28.
The announcement of Mailisa Beauty salon stated: "This is a very difficult decision and we are extremely regretful that we cannot continue to serve customers at this time. We would like to apologize to all our beloved customers and hope to receive sympathy to overcome this difficulty.

According to the reporter's records on November 28, the Mailisa facility in Huynh Van Banh (Cau Kieu ward, Ho Chi Minh City) was completely closed, officially suspended operations according to the announcement. Reporters observed that there were no more visitors coming and going, lighting signs or welcoming staff like in previous days.

Previously, the Department of Drug Administration (Ministry of Health) had revoked 80 receipts of declarations and suspended the circulation of 162 cosmetic products under the management of MK Skincare Import-Export Production and Trading Services Company Limited. This is a business owned by Mr. Hoang Kim Khanh, Mrs. Mailisa's husband.
The reason for the revocation is that MK Skincare Company did not present the Product Information Document (PIF) as prescribed. PIF documents are mandatory documents to prove the safety, quality and effectiveness of the product. The lack of this document puts the products at risk of being unsafe for users.
All expired batches of 162 products in the recalled portfolio largely manufactured at multiple facilities in China have been suspended from circulation nationwide. This decision is applied as a remedial measure under Article 71 of Decree 117/2020/ND-CP, to ensure the safety of users when the enterprise cannot provide PIF documents as prescribed.
