All union members and workers have Tet
On January 15, Mr. Hoang Khac Tinh - Permanent Vice President of the Tien Giang Provincial Federation of Labor - said that with the motto "All union members and workers have Tet", the Tien Giang Provincial Federation of Labor organized the program "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Ung Deng" in 2025 at 3 industrial parks and clusters in the area.
At these 3 locations, the Tien Giang Provincial Federation of Labor presented gifts to 1,883 union members and workers in difficult circumstances, with a total value of more than 1.026 billion VND. In addition, each location also held a lucky draw with prizes such as: motorbikes, air conditioners, televisions, refrigerators, etc. with a total value of gifts at the 3 locations of more than 142 million VND.
At the same time, the Tien Giang Provincial Federation of Labor mobilized businesses to support 186 train and bus tickets to give to workers to return home to celebrate Tet At Ty 2025, with a total amount of 46.5 million VND. In addition, businesses also supported 9 "Union Shelters" and Tet gifts to give to workers in difficult circumstances, with a total amount of 11.05 billion VND.
The Standing Vice President of Tien Giang Provincial Labor Federation shared that "Three locations, one heart" was organized by Tien Giang Provincial Labor Federation to take care of material and spiritual needs of union members and workers on the occasion of Tet At Ty 2025.
“The program is a bridge of love, helping workers improve their spiritual life. In addition, this valuable gift is also a sharing and encouragement for workers, who are constantly contributing to the socio-economic development of Tien Giang province,” Mr. Tinh informed.

Care for and protect the rights of workers
Mr. Hoang Khac Tinh also added that the Tien Giang Provincial Federation of Labor has requested local trade unions to organize activities to take care of the Lunar New Year 2025 for union members and employees to ensure savings, efficiency and meaning. Trade unions need to proactively participate with employers to publicly monitor and supervise the implementation of plans to pay salaries, bonuses, working conditions, rest time, overtime, and other benefits to ensure the rights of union members and employees; ensure the legitimate rights and interests of union members and employees when working overtime, working overtime, and working during Tet.
Tien Giang Provincial Federation of Labor also requires the direct superior Trade Union to proactively advise, report and register the schedule with the leaders of the Party Committee and the authorities at the same level to participate in the Tet care activities of the Trade Union organization to encourage union members and workers. At the same time, guide the subordinate Trade Unions to make estimates as a basis for spending on Tet care activities for union members and workers from the financial resources of the Trade Union.
