More than 1.55 million people consulted and introduced to jobs

HƯƠNG NHA |

After nearly 5 months of opening and operation, the National Job Exchange has consulted and introduced jobs to more than 1.55 million people, contributing to connecting workers with businesses nationwide.

Businesses save time and recruitment costs

The national job exchange (GDVL) was opened by the Ministry of Home Affairs on April 14, 2026, is a digital platform connecting more than 53.6 million workers with businesses, aiming to build a transparent and interconnected labor market nationwide.

Mr. Phu Chi Huy Khang - Head of Recruitment Department, Vietnam Concentrix Services Co., Ltd. - said that the National Job Exchange helps businesses access human resources nationwide, without being limited by localities, and is also a transparent and official channel.

We save significant time and recruitment costs. In the near future, we plan to use this platform as an official recruitment channel" - Mr. Khang said.

Vice President of the European Business Association in Vietnam Nguyen Hai Minh said that the quality of human resources and the ability to access suitable labor are important issues for businesses, especially foreign businesses.

According to Mr. Minh, foreign businesses still face difficulties in finding workers with suitable skills, especially in the fields of high-tech manufacturing, digital technology and logistics. When it is necessary to expand production in a short time, finding and recruiting workers can still take a lot of time and costs. In addition, there is also a gap between training and actual needs, forcing businesses to invest more time to retrain workers.

From the above reality, Mr. Nguyen Hai Minh assessed that the deployment of the National Employment Exchange is a step highly appreciated by the association. According to him, if developed in the right direction, the platform can become an important infrastructure of the labor market, helping to connect supply and demand more effectively, reducing recruitment time and costs.

Connecting labor data nationwide

According to the Ministry of Home Affairs, all information of workers and businesses on the National Job Exchange is verified through VNeID electronic identification, contributing to limiting fake information and ensuring data security. Data is connected uniformly nationwide, overcoming the situation of dispersion, creating conditions to more flexibly regulate human resources between regions.

In addition, artificial intelligence and big data are applied to support connecting employee records with business recruitment needs faster and more accurately; and at the same time provide a database for analyzing and forecasting labor market trends.

Mr. Nguyen Hai Minh said that the platform is interconnected with the National Data Center, thereby contributing to improving transparency. If well integrated and exploited, the platform can become a data tool to support management agencies in forecasting labor demand.

However, Mr. Nguyen Van An - Deputy Director of the National Center for Employment Services - said that in reality, there is a situation where businesses register higher recruitment numbers than the actual needs or register to participate in recruitment "for show".

According to Mr. An, this situation can create a "virtual" labor market, directly affecting workers. Therefore, businesses need to actively participate, publicize recruitment information transparently and accurately on the National Job Exchange; coordinate with the State in providing labor market data to serve forecasting and policy planning. Businesses also need to commit to recruiting in accordance with the posted information, avoiding taking advantage of the exchange or causing risks to workers.
