People need career counseling
Ea Rieng commune, Dak Lak province is a locality with abundant labor force, most people live by agricultural production, unskilled labor and traditional occupations.
However, in the face of economic development requirements and changes in the labor market, the demand for vocational training, career orientation counseling and job introduction of people is increasing in order to increase income and stabilize life.

Ms. Tran Thi Anh Nguyet (resident of Ea Rieng commune) 40 years old has two daughters. Among them, the eldest child is only 15 years old, currently making a living by delivering goods. This is the main source of income for the family, but the job is quite hard, especially for women who often have to travel in harsh weather conditions.
Recently, Ms. Nguyet participated in a domestic and labor export counseling and job introduction program organized by the locality. Through the counseling session, she gained more information about the labor market and job opportunities suitable for herself.
After being consulted by businesses and local authorities, I feel that I have more career choices to have a more stable life. Later, I can also orient my children's careers. I am planning to switch to another job to have a better income and take care of my family," Ms. Nguyet shared.

Also wanting to improve her life, Ms. Pham Thi Chinh (resident of Ea Rieng commune) is making efforts to find economic development directions to raise her children. Among them, the eldest child does not have a stable job; two children are working in Japan and Germany under the labor export program; the youngest child is in 10th grade.
Her family's income is currently mainly based on 8 sao of acacia and raising wild boars. However, agricultural production depends heavily on the market and weather, so income is not stable.
Ms. Chinh hopes that the locality will open more training classes on animal husbandry and cultivation and strengthen job connections so that people have more opportunities to improve their income.
People here mainly do agriculture, many families are still in difficulty, so they really need to be guided on more effective production techniques. If they can learn a trade and access more job information, people will have more opportunities to change their lives," Ms. Chinh said.
According to Ms. Chinh, in the past time, she has also proactively researched the labor market to find suitable jobs for her first child.
Local people hope that the government will continue to pay attention to expanding vocational training programs, counseling and job introduction, creating conditions for workers to have stable jobs, gradually increase income and contribute to the development of their homeland.

Strengthen vocational training, introduce stable jobs
In recent years, the lives of people in Ea Rieng commune have gradually improved. However, creating stable jobs is still an urgent need for many local workers.
In 2025, the commune government supported people in hamlet 20 to participate in pig farming vocational training classes. After the course, many households boldly invested in barns, bought breeds, developed household farming models and initially brought economic efficiency.
Continuing that result, in 2026, the Commune People's Committee coordinated with provincial functional agencies to organize consulting, job introduction and labor export orientation, helping people access information about the domestic and foreign labor markets.

Mr. Hoa Quang Binh - Head of the Culture and Social Department of Ea Rieng commune - said that vocational training associated with job creation is an important solution to improve the quality of human resources, promote labor structure transformation and local economic development.
According to Mr. Binh, opening vocational training classes needs to originate from the actual needs of the people, and at the same time be linked to the economic development orientation of the locality and the recruitment needs of businesses.
In addition, counseling and job introduction also need to be promoted so that workers can access suitable job opportunities, limiting the situation of lack of information or unstable jobs.
In the coming time, along with the socio-economic development process, promoting vocational training, improving skills and connecting jobs will create more sustainable job opportunities for workers.
When equipped with knowledge, skills and support to access the labor market, people not only improve their income and stabilize their lives but also contribute to building quality human resources, promoting the overall development of the locality," Mr. Binh emphasized.
