On December 10, the Trade Union of the Executive Board (under the Vietnam-Russia Joint Venture Trade Union of Vietsovpetro) announced that it had organized the journey "Send warm clothes - Send love and share with people in the Central region during floods".
The journey organized by grassroots trade unions took place in Quang Ngai and Da Nang, bringing sharing and hearts of union members and workers to those in difficult circumstances and families heavily affected by the recent historic floods. Previously, the grassroots Trade Union launched a donation campaign among union members and workers to support those in difficult circumstances.
On this occasion, the delegation presented 1 Samsung TV; 180 warm coats; 125 warm blankets and essential necessities to 2 units in Quang Ngai province. In addition, the delegation presented 70 gifts worth 1.2 million VND/gift (including cash and necessities) to families affected by the recent floods in Xuan Phu commune (Da Nang). The total cost of the operation is more than 183 million VND.
According to the Trade Union of the Executive Board, the program not only contributes to practically supporting difficult circumstances and families affected by natural disasters, but also contributes to spreading the tradition of "sharing", one of the good cultural values of Vietsovpetro workers.
