On June 7, the Ha Tinh Provincial Labor Federation said that the grassroots Trade Union of Ha Tinh Mineral and Trading Corporation (Mitraco Ha Tinh) has coordinated with professional departments to organize many activities to care for the health of union members and workers.
Currently, Mitraco Ha Tinh grassroots trade union has 13 divisional trade unions with more than 900 union members. Workers work in many fields such as construction, mechanics, animal husbandry, processing, seaport transportation, and are frequently exposed to a special working environment, so health care is always of particular concern to the unit.
During the 2025 Workers' Month, the Trade Union Executive Committee of departments coordinated with professional departments to organize general and in-depth health check-ups for more than 400 union members and workers. In addition, workers were also consulted to perform necessary tests, guided on nutrition, rest and work regimes suitable to each individual's health condition.
Mr. Dao Anh Dung - Vice Chairman of Mitraco Ha Tinh Trade Union said that each union member and employee is supported with about 600,000 VND/person for health check-ups. For cases with needs for check-ups and tests outside the free list, employees are entitled to preferential policies on costs and services under the "Union Member Welfare" program signed between the trade union organization and the health service provider.
Periodic health check-ups not only help workers detect health problems early but also show the concern of businesses and trade union organizations for the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers.
