Responding to the movement "All people join hands to protect the environment, for a green - clean - beautiful Vietnam", on the morning of June 6, Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Nhiem - Chairwoman of the Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation, together with officials, union members, and people of Quyet Tien village, Mau A commune, participated in many practical activities to improve the living environment and build residential areas that are increasingly green, clean, and beautiful.
The movement is being implemented to respond to the call of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, and at the same time implement the plan of the Mau A Commune Party Committee on environmental protection in 2026.
Through activities, the locality continues to promote propaganda, raise awareness of officials, party members, union members and people about environmental protection; mobilize people to collect, sort, and treat waste at source, build a civilized lifestyle, and maintain a green - clean - beautiful landscape.
Immediately after the launching ceremony, forces and people simultaneously launched environmental sanitation campaigns, collected waste on rural traffic routes, cleared bushes, cleared sewers, and cleaned up the cultural house area and community activity points.
Many households are also actively renovating their housing premises, contributing to creating a spacious and beautiful rural appearance.
The activity contributes to spreading environmental protection awareness in the community, and at the same time affirms the role of the Trade Union organization in accompanying Party committees, authorities and people to participate in patriotic emulation movements, building new rural areas and sustainable local development.
