On February 3, according to a report from the Dong Nai Provincial Labor Federation, about 83.5% of employees of local businesses returned to work after the Lunar New Year holiday.
Speaking to Lao Dong reporter, Mr. Dang Tuan Tu - Chairman of the Trade Union of Chang Shin Vietnam Company Limited (Thanh Phu commune, Vinh Cuu district) said that up to now, 88% of the company's employees have returned to work after Tet, to serve the production progress of new orders in 2025.
Mr. Tu said that all employees working on the first day after the Lunar New Year holiday received lucky money of 200,000 VND/person from the company's Board of Directors and the union, the total amount estimated at nearly 8 billion VND.
Chang Shin Vietnam Company Limited (Thanh Phu Commune, Vinh Cuu District) has 38,500 employees, specializing in shoe processing for Nike Group. In Dong Nai Province, Chang Shin Vietnam Company Limited has 3 factories in Thanh Phu Commune (Vinh Cuu District), Loc An - Binh Son Industrial Park (Long Thanh District) and 1 factory in Tan Phu District.
Currently, Chang Shin Vietnam Company Limited is recruiting 5,000 more workers to expand production.
Also on the morning of February 3, more than 80% of employees of Hwaseung Vina Co., Ltd. (Nhon Trach 1 Industrial Park, Nhon Trach District) returned to the company to work stably.
Hwaseung Vina Co., Ltd., a shoe manufacturing company, currently has about 8,000 employees. On the first working day of the new year after Tet, the Board of Directors of Hwaseung Vina Co., Ltd. gave lucky money of VND 100,000/person to all employees who came to work on time.
It is expected that tomorrow (February 4), the number of workers who requested leave will return to work.
Pou Chen Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Hoa An Ward, Bien Hoa City) has about 14,500 workers who have returned to work as usual, reaching a rate of over 92%, the rest have applied for leave.
At Pousung Vietnam Co., Ltd. (with about 18,000 employees) specializing in shoe production in Bau Xeo Industrial Park, Trang Bom District, 91% of employees have returned to work, the rest are on maternity leave and are on leave to return home.
It is expected that on February 4 and 5, many businesses in Dong Nai will continue to open and employees will return to work after Tet holiday such as TKG Taekwang Vina Joint Stock Company, Phong Thai Group...
