On May 12, the Hue City Industrial Economic Zone Trade Union announced that it had just organized a conference to commend typical advanced examples among workers, civil servants, and laborers in the period of 2020 - 2025.
After 5 years of implementing emulation movements, the Hue City Industrial Park Trade Union has taken care of more than 85,000 union members and workers with a total budget of billions of VND. The movement to mobilize contributions to the "Union Shelter" Fund has raised over 500 million VND, supported the construction of 20 "Union Shelters" and repaired 15 houses for union members in difficult circumstances.
At the conference, 12 collectives and 76 individuals were commended for their outstanding achievements in labor production and trade union activities. They are team leaders, factory workers, and non-professional union officials, always diligently creating and maintaining solidarity in the collective. Many people have improved operations, shortened production time, and connected hundreds of workers to build a rich and warm spiritual life in the industrial environment.
The Hue City Economic and Industrial Zone Trade Union also presented 22 gifts to union members who had work-related accidents, each worth 500,000 VND from the union's budget. The conference not only honors but also places expectations on specific people, contributing to the development of Hue's industry in a green, modern and sustainable direction. On this occasion, the trade union also launched an emulation movement in response to the activities of Workers' Month in 2025.
