On October 22, the U Minh Thuong District Labor Federation (Kien Giang) held the 5th Conference of the District Labor Federation Executive Committee, term IV, term 2023-2028 to elect additional members of the Executive Committee, members of the Standing Committee, and the position of Chairman of the District Labor Federation, term IV, term 2023-2028.
The conference announced the decision on the unit's personnel work, transferring Mr. Le Trung Quoc - District Party Committee member, Deputy Head of the District Party Committee's Organization Board to work at the District Labor Federation.
Transfer Mr. Nguyen Van Cuoc - Chairman of the District Labor Federation to work at the District Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs to hold the position of Head of Division.
The conference elected additional members of the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and the position of Chairman of the U Minh Thuong District Labor Federation.
As a result, Mr. Le Trung Quoc was elected to the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and the position of Chairman of the U Minh Thuong District Labor Federation with 100% of the votes.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Le Trung Quoc thanked the Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor; the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee and the comrades in the Standing Committee and the Executive Committee of the U Minh Thuong District Federation of Labor for their trust. The new Chairman of the District Federation of Labor promised to continuously study, practice, quickly grasp the situation, and strive to perform well the assigned tasks.
