In the final match held at Ton Duc Thang University's stadium, the Thanh Thang Thang Long TPHCM Trade Union team competed with the Dong Nai 2 Trade Union team.
Thanh Thang Thang Long TPHCM Trade Union played completely overwhelmingly to win with a score of 6-1, thereby winning the Southern qualifying round of the 2026 Vietnam Workers and Civil Servants Football Tournament. And Dong Nai 2 Trade Union team won the runner-up position.
Attending the closing and award ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Vu - Vice President of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) congratulated the teams that passed the Southern regional qualifying round to participate in the final round. The Southern qualifying round of the 2026 Vietnam Workers and Civil Servants Football Tournament has 24 participating teams, taking place from June 7 to 10. Through 43 matches, the tournament has had 252 goals, 67 yellow cards and 3 red cards. The last 8 teams to win tickets to participate in the National Finals have also been identified including: Gia Lai Trade Union, Dong Nai 2 Trade Union, Sacombank, Dong Nai 4 Trade Union, Southern Petroleum Construction Trade Union of Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Nai 3 Trade Union, Thanh Thang Thang Long Trade Union of Ho Chi Minh City, and Quang Ngai Trade Union.
These 8 teams and 8 teams from the Northern region including: Hai Phong Trade Union, Bac Ninh 3 Trade Union, Vietnam Industry and Trade Trade Union 1, Vietnam Bank Trade Union, Bac Ninh 2 Trade Union, Petro Vietnam Trade Union, Hanoi Trade Union, and Quang Ninh Trade Union will participate in the national final round, expected to take place in July 2026 in Ho Chi Minh City.
