This is the 4th year that the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor has coordinated with Tuoi Tre newspaper and the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) to organize the Vietnam Workers and Civil Servants Football Tournament. This year's tournament attracted 48 participating teams, with a total prize value of 900 million VND, of which the national champion team received 200 million VND.
The Northern regional qualifying round took place in Hanoi, from May 21 to 24, selecting the best teams to participate in the final round.
The Southern regional qualifiers attracted 24 participating teams. Six first-placed teams and two second-placed teams with the best results will win the right to enter the quarterfinals and have tickets to participate in the national finals. The matches will take place from June 7 to 10, at the stadium of Ton Duc Thang University (HCMC).
According to the draw results, Group A includes Vietnam Railway Trade Union, Gia Lai Trade Union, Tay Ninh 2 Trade Union, Can Tho Trade Union. Group B includes Thanh Thang Thang Long HCMC Trade Union, Dong Nai 2 Trade Union, Long An International Port, Electricity Trade Union.
Group C includes Vinh Long Trade Union, Vietnam Industry and Trade Union 2, Sacombank, Da Nang Trade Union. Group D includes Paiho Ho Chi Minh City Trade Union, Dong Nai Trade Union 4, Lam Dong Trade Union, Quang Ngai Trade Union.
Group E includes the Southern Petroleum Construction Trade Union of Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Nai Trade Union 1, Sawaco, Vietnam Rubber Trade Union. Group F includes Biwase Trade Union of Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Nai Trade Union 3, Tay Ninh Trade Union 1, Dong Thap Trade Union.
The Southern regional qualifying round attracted the participation of strong teams such as defending champion Sacombank, defending runner-up Sawaco. With careful preparation from the teams and organizers, the matches promise to be exciting, with many goals scored.
The national final round is expected to take place in Ho Chi Minh City, from July 16 to 19, 2026.
