The class has 54 students who are grassroots trade union officials in the non-state sector belonging to 7 ward trade unions.
The study program takes place over 8 days, divided into two semesters, from September 15-18 and from September 22-25; practical activities are organized on September 19.
In the course, students are equipped with knowledge about the content, methods and methods of grassroots trade union activities; how to participate in management, coordinate in building and implementing grassroots democracy regulations.
The training content focuses on how to implement the organization of employee conferences, dialogues at the workplace; negotiation, signing and implementation of collective labor agreements.
Trainees also learned about regulations on labor contracts, wages, working hours, safety, occupational hygiene and responsibilities of grassroots trade unions in resolving labor disputes; women's affairs, trade union finance; skills in organizing collective activities and drafting documents.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. To Xuan Thao, Chairman of the Quang Ninh City Labor Federation, emphasized that fostering knowledge, skills, and professional skills is the foundation for trade union officials to improve the quality of activities, perform well the role of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers.
The Chairman of the Quang Ninh City Labor Federation requested trainees to proactively arrange work, fully participate in the program, actively study, exchange experiences; apply the knowledge equipped in practice at units and businesses, better meet the needs and aspirations of union members and workers.
During the study period, students are provided with materials and partially supported with meal money; officials living far away are arranged accommodation if needed.
