These commune and ward trade unions have legal status, are allowed to use their own seals, open accounts at banks, and perform their duties and powers according to the provisions of law and the Charter of the Vietnam Trade Union.
Implementing the direction of the central and city; in response to the need to innovate the organizational apparatus and improve the effectiveness of trade union activities, in recent times, the City Labor Federation has proactively advised and implemented two important projects: Establishing trade unions in communes, wards and trade unions in high-tech parks and Hanoi Industrial Park. This is a step of strategic significance, both ensuring consistency in the political system and strongly promoting the role of trade union organizations in representing and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of workers. The two projects were approved and implemented thanks to the consensus and support of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee and the Standing Committee of the Hanoi City Fatherland Front Committee.
After nearly 2 months of urgent implementation, with the close coordination of the City Labor Federation with the Party Committee, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees of communes and wards, the City Labor Federation held a Conference to hand over the Decision to establish the Commune and Ward Trade Union. This is an important milestone, opening a new journey for the activities of the Capital Trade Union, affirming the determination to innovate, be creative, focus on the grassroots and stand side by side with workers.
Speaking at the Conference, Vice Chairman Ngo Duy Hieu suggested that the Trade Unions of communes, wards, and Trade Unions of High-Tech Parks and Industrial Parks in Hanoi focus on performing well a number of tasks, including preparing well for the organization of the Congress; grasping the operating mechanism. The Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor especially emphasized the work of taking care of the 2026 Lunar New Year of Binh Ngo for union members and workers.
Assigning tasks to the Trade Unions of communes, wards, wards, communes, and Trade Unions of High-Tech Parks and Industrial Parks in Hanoi, Permanent Vice President in charge of the Hanoi City Labor Federation Le Dinh Hung requested the implementation of 6 key tasks. In particular, performing well the function of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers; participating in developing policies related to labor, supervising law enforcement; coordinating to build harmonious and stable labor relations; at the same time effectively implementing practical care programs such as "Tet Sum Vay", "Tet Doan Market" with the spirit of not leaving any union members or workers behind; focusing on developing union members, establishing new grassroots unions, associated with participating in building a strong Party, government and political system at the grassroots level...
These tasks are both a responsibility and an opportunity for the Commune, Ward, and High-Tech Park Trade Unions and Hanoi Industrial Parks to affirm their roles and positions from the very first day of establishment.
